well, voting's closed, but I'd go with option 1. Recalc'ing all the gear based on new ilvls just seems like too much work to me. The scores are nothing more than reference points. As long as everyone is being compared on the same scale, everyone will have a reference to each other. I'm not sure how old world gear is being itemized, but leaving the calcs as it makes more sense to me. It would be nice to have a comparison of old world gear to new world gear.
